Day 51



Well we went out to chinese and I managed to eat 1100 calories. I then ate some pretzels and there was the rest plus a little over. I shopped for 2 hours so walking was added as an exercise today. Plus unloading the groceries and packing them into the car. Its 4:30 pm and Im regretting the fast food. Im hungry but have no extra calories to eat. I may just grab a spinach salad and workout 6 days a week this week instead of 5. Tomorrow I have to go run around and have an early morning. Im hoping I want screw up and eat more then I should in one meal. My son also broke my first scale and I had to get another. This one is up out of little boys reach ha ha Heres to tomorrow!

Day 50

Im really finding it hard to stay motivated now that the scale wont move. Im annoyed and feel like I dont care anymore. I rather eat what I want and not worry then feel upset and down because I cant budge the scale. Im going to try and stay on track but I have no desire to workout anymore. Im going to have to push myself to do it today......

Breakfast: Oatmeal--160 calories

Lunch: I had 1/2 cup of lasagna helper--130 calories

Day 49 Weigh in week 7

Im a little frustrated today. I managed to maintain weight for two weeks the scale wont budge! However I did lose an inch in my thighs and 1/2 an inch in my stomach. Im not sure if Im building muscle, plateauing or if its water weight. Im not giving up and going back to eating bad. Greasy, buttery foods now make me sick. Im just going to have to push myself a little harder and workout longer 20 minutes a day is not cutting it anymore! Im also going to cut back on carbs a little more then I was. They still fit into my calorie goal but I think that may be holding me back too. So here is to losing weight next week!

Well I ended up snacking after dinner! I was starving and water was not helping. Im annoyed because I don't let myself eat after 7pm but I couldnt sleep....Lets hope the extra 300 calories in snacks I ate wont make a big difference!

Day 46--Where have I been!

Im happy to say my cold is FINALLY gone but now my son has it. This was the worst cold I have ever had! Our plumbing is fixed too :) so Im back to my usual workout routine! I took a break from it for about a week well I waited for some house stuff to get worked out. I didnt gain ANY weight :) Im very proud of myself. I will include some food photos today of the things I can remember eating.

Day 42-weigh in week 6

Well if you have been following my blog regularly you know all week we have been dealing with some house stuff. Our plumbing is being redone so we have been going without water for a few hours before they turn it back on its a mess. Anyway I have not worked out all week but I weighed myself and Im still 138. So no weight gained which is good. We have been eating easy bad foods too because I dont want to dirty dishes. Let me tell you this came at the worst time!

Day 41

Gah not only am I still sick but now the plumbing is getting worked on. So no running water for a few hours now. Im probably going to have to order out because the water is shut off and we need water to cook most of our meals. Good thing I havent put on any weight. When I weigh in tomorrow I know there will be no difference at all........Annoyed!

Day 40

This morning I feel like I was hit by a bus! My head is heavy, my body hurts and my nose just wont stop running! To add to this my husband has a stomach bug so I can only guess thats next for me. I highly doubt I will lose any weight this week. Im staying around my calorie goals but there is little energy to work out. I can barley breath walking across the house and i know a cardio workout will kill me. Im irritated because I hate how this cold is keeping me from loosing weight! Im going to have to push myself harder next week to make up for this week. I just hope this cold doesn't last much longer....

Day 39

Its official Im sick! I have no motivation today and I cant breath! My nose is so stuffed and my body is a weak store mess. Being sick everything taste awful and I just want to sleep. Looks like Im going to have to do an hour a day for the next few days to make up for this. I hope tomorrow is better and I can get back to working out. I did do some light cleaning but even that wore me out. Body needs some rest and I really dont want to step on the scale.....



Day 38

Im getting a cold I can feel it! My throat is killing me and I feel exhausted. No pictures again today due to all the running around I did. I had to pay bills and do the grocery shopping thing. I did go to arbys and had an all american roast burger but ate half with a 0 calorie peach tea. I have this icky feeling I gained some weight back and Im not looking forward to the weigh in on friday.....

Day 37

So I didn't take any pictures today. Didn't eat much but I know I went over my calories again. Thats ok though because I plan on doubling up my workouts to make up for my two day vacation. I have to let myself have fun but still remember I cant do this everyday or those 9 pounds I already lost will come right back again. Thats my struggle. Not eating everything yummy everyday. I have to say I have found healthy foods that are oh so yummy too! I'll list my favorites below since I slacked on photos today :( Remember to treat yourself sometimes or you will go on a crazy binge and feel awful! I took a bit of fried chicken and had to spit it out ha ha the amount of grease made me gag! Something new because I LOVED fried chicken before this lifestyle change! So instead of fried chicken I grabbed my Progresso light soup :) 


Favorite healthy stuff!
  • Greek yogurt! (remember to stir before you eat!)
  • baby carrots with low fat cottage cheese
  • Grapes oh do I love these
  • Homemade muffins (I know how much and what are in these)
  • Omelets! 
  • Flatbread pizza
  • Flatbread wraps
  • Chicken (so much you can do with chicken)
  • Turkey pepperoni
  • Spinach salad
  • Salad
  • Light ranch and italian dressing!
  • Quaker 90 calorie mini delights, rice mini cakes and chewy bars
  • Thomas thin bagels
  • Water with low or 0 calorie flavor packs
So thats all I can think of at this time. There are so many yummy health food out there :) and I have managed to trick my anit-health food family into enjoying them! Of course I did the here its no different then once they ate it I would ask if they tasted any difference. No has always been the answer or I get WOW this was amazing today! Ha ha so that just goes to show even making little changes will make a big difference in your life. Light or low fat ingredients with whole wheat instead of the regular pastas and breads. Losing weight and getting healthy is a challenge but if you are ready you can do this!

Day 36

Breakfast
Whole wheat thomas bagel thin with egg and cheese. Plus a 1/2 cup red grapes

Lunch
Veggies on a light flatbread ate half 125 calories (entire pizza was 250)


I pretty much gave up by the end of the day. I probably met or went over my calorie allowance for the day. I had a few drinks with dinner and I know that pushed me over. Looks like Im going to have to push myself harder next week to make up for it.

Day 32

First I want to say Im so proud of myself! I have stuck with my new lifestyle and didn't go back to the much easier one. I have worked out and ate right for a month!! I forgot to take a photo of my breakfast but I had half a bagel thin, 1 egg and a cup of orange juice. Snack was a few fit and active cheddar rice cake minis :) Didn't have a lot of snacks because Im having a big dinner. If I have a small dinner I wake up hungry and cant sleep. So this works best for me!

Lunch
Flatbread light italian herb, ham, cheese and light ranch dressing 275 calories
Exercise  
25 minutes (warm up and first circuit)

Im still working on making my way to the second part. Once I feel I can breeze through the first then on to the second :) Thats more toning anyway and right now I want to focus on weight loss then toning!

Dinner
 Egg noodles, chicken and a veggie mix.
