Checking in!


So with proper size meals and just staying on my feet all day I've lost some more weight! I havent been working out so Im shocked! Guess all it really takes it watching what I eat :) Now that winter is coming Im worried I will snack out of boredom. Im going to try and keep fresh fruits in here instead of junk. Its going to be hard because our produce usually looks bad this time of year. 

Favorite thing this month would be healthy soups, salads, pastas and my brita pitcher!

Feeling better!

After my last post I found a good routine. I now have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and then dinner. My calorie intake has gone up but Im still losing weight :) Im down to 126.4 which is amazing and I've lost an inch in my stomach love handle area! I haven't been working out just running after a toddler and being a wife. My days are spent on my feet for the most part. Other days however I do have time on my hand so I try and do something. The workouts are getting boring so Im trying to find other options for myself. My breakfast most mornings are still eggs with a fruit but a few days ago I decided to try some veggies!

Ignore the date I finally fixed that ha ha. Anyway I enjoy having asparagus for breakfast! Im also loving salads and now the weather is cooling down soups! They're filling but can be super healthy too! Canned I always go for low sodium and low calorie. I prefer homemade so Im going to try and freeze some and see how that goes.



Recently I tried the morning star burgers. I wasn't the biggest fan. They tasted very bland to me and Im the type of person who loves flavor. I wont be buying these again but I do plan on trying other products by this brand in the future!

What I've been up to!

So here's what I've been dealing with. When I was younger the doctors told me I had low blood sugar. I guess I go through sugar faster then usual. So when I exercise or eat too little I feel sick and become a monster. The past few years I was over eating so I didnt notice my low sugar. Now that Im in a healthy weight I really have to watch. So now my new eating routine is breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and then dinner. I stay in my calorie goal which has been upped now that Im more active :) Im now at a 1350 calorie. I haven't been working out just cant seem to find the motivation anymore! I know I know no excuse but Im getting bored of the same workouts. So its time to spice them up again! Also decided to cut meat out of my morning meals. I've done pretty good with that so far :) and now I hope to cut meat out of most of my lunches. Its hard to do but Im trying :) I found I love vegetables and fruits more then I like meats anyway.

Im back!




Ok Im back! The cold is gone and I feel 10 times better!! Now today wasnt the best eating day but I did stay in my calorie goal! 1250 total today

no motivation

Today I have no motivation. Im not sure if its the cold I have or the fact that I haven't worked out in awhile. Probably both.....Still logging my food but haven't worked out at all!





Started feeling dizzy and really sick so Im going off my diet and letting my body get back to normal. I wont be counting calories or exercising until then. Going to drink lots of fluids and eat when hungry. See you all soon!

Back from vacation

I've been back from vacation for a few days but didnt really get back on track until today. I weighed in at 129.2 this morning so thats a 3 pounds gain. Much better then I thought! That should be easy to work off :) I enjoyed my vacation and ate whatever BUT I did stop when I was full and tried not to eat just because. We had so much fun but its time to get back to working out and back to life! So I'm starting my food diary again. A few of you wanted to see what I do and eat :) I try to stay in a 1250 calorie diet with LOTS of water. I'll add photos of what I ate at the end of the day!

Back on track!

Im so happy to say Im back on track :) Im down to 126.8 pounds and feeling great. I dont miss the junk food like I thought I would. I crave the good stuff now :) Its amazing how far I've come. Everyone has asked me how I've lost the weight. My answer you have to want it! I can say I wish I was smaller but until I started saying I will be smaller it didnt work. You have to be determined and want it! Dont let anything keep you from loving your body!!!!

As most of you know I will be leaving for vacation in a few days. Its going to be hard to eat right but I'll do my best. Once I get back I'll start logging my food on here again. That way you can see what I eat :) So until I get settled back into a routine I wont be posting again until late august

Im a slacker!

 So I've been MIA. No reason just pure laziness. I skipped workouts and started eating whenever. Still ate healthy but went back to snacking. Thats my downfall snacking! However Im back on track and have been for about two weeks now. Im down to 129.0 and feeling great! Cut out all soda :) even when we eat out! I ask for tea :) not much better but get its a start. I upped my veggie intake and cut back on hamburger. Im eating more chicken and less starch. Seems to be working!!! 

Been rotating these three workouts and it seems to help. I like the fast pace cardio and pilates for days Im feeling blah. Seems to keep me motivated if I do something everyday :) I make sure to workout at least 20 minutes but it has to be intense. I cant slack I have to push if I want to fit in that bikini by the time I go on vacation!

Day 95-Workout!

I know I've stopped my daily posts but it gets boring! Im going to just do an update here and there to let you all know how its going. Lately I've been doing 20-30 minutes of pilates in the morning and 20-30 minute of cardio in the Afternoon. I feel great and let me tell you even though my scale is staying the same I can see the changes! I took my 90 day photo and my kangaroo pouch is gone! I have some definition back and Im so excited. I look that that picture every morning so I keep motivated. I don't step on the scale anymore. I think Im trading fat for muscle so its not worth it to get upset over the numbers :) Im just going to keep going and if I stay at 131 thats ok. My body is changing and Im happy!!!

Day 92--weigh in week 13

Alright so Im stuck at 131 and I know why. I've been snacking! Its bad I know so today Im getting back on track and writing down EVERYTHING. I stopped and would forget then remember later....Its FINALLY nice out but guess what! Its been raining LOL I may go for a walk today with my son :) and do a 20-30 minute cardio/strength workout.

Breakfast: Fruit yogurt smoothie!!!
Lunch: Half a turkey wrap
Dinner: tuna helper with broccoli
Snacks: natures valley peanut butter bar & a pop tart.

Pilates 10 minute solution: 20 minutes
Walked outside for 45 minutes

Plus the usual cleaning and chasing my kiddo!

Day 84

Today I had a bowl of kix 1/2 cup whole milk for breakfast. Im going to make myself an iced coffee because I can't seem to wake up! I usually dont count my sugar calories because its not enough to make a big difference. Skipped my workout yesterday because my son refused to nap. For some reason he wants held or my attention whenever I put in a workout dvd.

Anyone have a good low fat substitute for milk? I can't drink less then 2% and I want to stay away from soy. Is almond milk any good??

 half a small banana, 1 cup multigrain cherrioes, 1/2 cup whole milk

ham with mustard on a thomas thin bagel wheat with a salad

Ran one mile to this at 8 am. Walking does nothing for me now.

Day 76--Not weighing in week 12

This week I decided to skip my weigh in. I feel like I may have gained some water weight so Im staying away from the scale. I can see a change in my body but I still feel blah. I got some love handles that just wont go away and the scale is bouncing from 131-132 so Im not sure whats going on. Its that time again so maybe thats it. Im not going to lie I have indulged on chocolate and that could be the cause too. Went over my calories a few days and Im owning up to it. However yesterday I did a 22 minutes tone/cardio workout. Thats two more minutes then I could do. Im celebrating the little victories! Im back on track with charting my food and going to workout again. I have my ipod ready to go for running once the weather gets better. Its snowing right now :( I think the cardio/toning is fun I can feel it and thats what I need now!

Day 74--In a funk

Im feeling annoyed today. Im so tired of the breakfast and lunches I've been eating. Its the same thing everyday. I've run out of ideas!! Its usually eggs, toast, wheat bagel or oatmeal for breakfast and sandwiches, salad or soup for lunch. Im in a funk and need some new ideas. Dinner isnt a big deal I rotate meals enough that we dont get bored. My son had mac and cheese and I was soooo tempted to eat some. Its getting hard for me to avoid the foods I want so badly. Now that Im so close to the 120's why am I doing this??? What's going on in my head! I feel like Im trying to sabotage myself.....I havent done a good workout in a couple days. I just have no motivation right now. I rather sit in front of the tv and munch on food. I know if I do I will regret it and feel like poo so I wont but its tempting! I might try to get up and squeeze a workout in before I have to cook dinner. I think I might try to do a light workout in the morning and a heavy cardio in the evening. We shall see....I just hope I get out of this funk......

Day 73

Im so proud of myself! I had a birthday party to go to and I avoided the soda and cupcakes! I did have some mcdonalds but only ate half the sandwich and didnt touch the fries. I skipped breakfast because the party was so far and I was running late. Plus I get car sick and didnt want to get sick LOL I ran, climbed and jumped around for two hours ha ha. The day before that I took my son to the park and ran around for an hour and Monday I racked my yard and tried to level out the mess that was made when we dug up the pipes.....Im a little shaky today so I asked my friends on facebook and they think iron. So Im going to eat some eggs and spinach for breakfast and probably something with hamburger for dinner. My body is a little sore from all this activity but its a good sore. Not sure when I will step on the scale again. I have a busy week!
